The end result is a beautiful wood floor that can last for generations with proper care. We specialize in heart pine, a species of wood that has largely been forested out of existence. The history of this wood began with the first colonists that landed in North America. They did not find gold sprinkling the beache ...s, but they did find a hardwood tree with exquisite gold and red coloring. Timber was shipped to the currently deforested Europe by the boat load. Heart pine was also popular among the Americans. Factories, warehouses, and homes were built with this hardwood. By sourcing wood from these old buildings, Blue Ridge Heart Pine Floors is a certified Green Business. It is our pride to provide top quality flooring to our customers.
