I am a Remodeling and Construction Coach. My objective is to represent and advise you, the owner, on Remodeling and Construction of your home. I don’t represent an architect or builder, I only represent the owner. Most of my career has been as a developer/construction company owner and I am very aware that the owner’s requirements and desires are not always in alignment with the architect’s or the contractor’s. While building or remodeli ...ng a home is not rocket science, it is complicated and tedious and requires attention to detail. Obsession to detail is even better. Anybody who can afford to hire a Remodeling Coach can remodel or build their own home, but it is also easier to build or remodel a home after a couple of practice homes. It is much easier to see that a window is in the wrong place or too high after it is installed; it takes experience to see that it is wrong before it is built. My objective, as your Remodeling or Construction Coach, is to help you see small problems and stop them from becoming big problems. If you are considering an addition, a remodel, or building a new home, I can help. I am a retired, savvy, developer/contractor with 45 years of experience. I have directly and indirectly overseen over 50 different projects involving over 2,600 production homes and 18 custom homes. I have done all phases of home construction from swinging a hammer to processing complicated, and political, projects through governmental agencies. The value that I can add, as your coach, can vary from the simple to the complex. It may just be reviewing your plans and specifications and explaining them in your language. It can be as complex as representing you in all phases of your project from processing the plans through your City or Town to walking the completed home with your contractor. I offer the first hour free to all new clients. If you find me helpful, I charge $175 an hour thereafter. Even one free hour can help generate ideas and a couple of hours can make the difference between being overwhelmed or enthusiastic.
