IVORY BILL, LLC . . . We believe that good furniture can make life a richer experience, that it pays to buy things made by hand, that art doesn’t have to hang exclusively on walls. This sentiment shows in our work. The Ivory Billed Woodpecker is a rare bird that was thought for many years to be extinct. Handcrafted furniture, like the Ivory Bill is also becoming increasingly rare. We are pleased to take part in the revival of this rich tradit ...ion in our corner of the West. There is something special about being involved in the design process that breathes new life into a simple block of wood. We want our clients to be as proud to own a piece of Ivory Bill furniture as we are to build it. If it is a small area of the home, or the entire home, we can make it beautiful with wood. Ivory Bill carries on the increasingly rare tradition of hand built, carefully crafted furniture and cabinets. We work with wood that is beautiful enough to stand alone. Each species has a unique fingerprint. We create custom furniture and cabinets, unique to each client’s taste. Our ivorybillmodern line debuts fall 2010, which will feature our own knock-down versions of the classic modern home set.
