With over 8,000 inspections performed in the Capital Region, I am here to work for you, and in your best interest. The business is dynamic and changing, and we are committed to staying ahead of the curve. In the beginning, it was alot of Uncle Harrys peeking around, then came "Structural Inspections" where inspectors focused only on large cost items for negotiation or contract termination, and now we are evolving. In the past, and even currently, ... as inspectors we are generalists, not specialists. We work "with" specialists and often recommend one to further investigate the issue when we are concerned or see a potential big issue. As times have changed, the public is demanding inspectors become specialists. While we will never have the hands on experience of a specialist, it's our obligation, based on consumer demand, that we continue to educate ourselves, and realize what was once an ancillary offering (well flows, water purity tests, radon and pest inspections) have become expected. The new ancillaries offered from progressive inspectors may include sprinkler systems, appliances, mold, pools and even electrical fields and infrared scans.
