About Us - Jeffrey T Mager. Restoring and repairing furniture in the long island area since 1967. Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. Our team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. We would welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry. I apprenticed and trained ... at a young age under one of the original masters in the profession in the Southampton, New York area. Over the years I have continued to hone my skills in the Furniture trade. Presently I continue to learn and be flexible with newer products and techniques. My main goal is for preservation and restoration of furniture, sanding or stripping the wood of its finish and natural patina is not always recommended. Restoring, results in a beautiful finish as in conventional techniques but will actually reduce the time on a project.
