Whitney's Inc. was established in 1922. The founder of Whitney;s was named Vinal Whitney. He was at the time 23 years old. He also had a parnter named Ed Engen. Whitneys was a very confident risk taker. In 1944 a gentleman named Forrest Kelsey bought into the partnership with V.I. Whitneys. Mr. Whitney passed away in 1974. Mr. Kelsey did an outstanding job through some tough times. In 1978, Mr. Kelsey became sole owner. He then in 1981 ...sold a portion of the business to Mr. Les Foss and Mr. James Glick. In 1983 James Glick and Les Foss became co-owners. In 1990 James Glick became the sole owner of Whitney's Inc. Whitney's Inc. is the oldest Chevrolet dealership in Washington, it is known for it's out of the world service. We have survived in this hard working timber community for 86 years by taking care of the customers' needs one at a time. Our slogan sums it up " it's Worth the Drive to Whitney's" and "One call does it all", have been posted for years for a reason
